With an innovative design that allows you to adjust its shape and add warmth when needed, the Boost is one of the most comfortable and versatile sleeping bags ever made. The semi-rectangular shape offers significantly more interior space than a mummy bag: you'll feel free and unrestricted to sleep in your preferred position all night long. But more space requires more body heat to warm up, and cold is not comfortable. This is where WarmZip comes in. By zipping up the central WarmZip, the shape of the Boost 650 transforms from a semi-rectangular sleeping bag into a thermally efficient mummy bag. The 650 fill wraps around the body and reduces the amount of space the body needs to warm up. WarmZip gives you the option to add up to 6 °C to the Boost's temperature rating. Standard Therm-a-Rest features, such as the draft collar, the draft tube along the entrance zipper, and the adjustable hood, complete the Boost's enveloping comfort. Armholes allow you to easily access the WarmZip without having to use the side zipper. They also allow you to access your belongings, read a book, play cards, or high-five friends without having to give up the warmth of your sleeping bag.
If you're too warm, use the armholes for ventilation or to sleep comfortably with just your arms exposed. You can also ventilate around your torso or feet with the two-way side zipper. Every zipper line on the Boost features a durable, snag-free YKK pull to prevent annoying and damaging tears.

The Boost 650 was designed for backpacking: the materials and design have been perfected to make it lightweight, compressible, and high-performing in variable backcountry conditions. Zoned insulation strategically places 650-fill hydrophobic down in key heat-retaining areas (on top, around the torso and shoulders) and reduces it where it's less efficient (on the bottom), allowing the Boost to create more warmth with less down. The outer shell and lining are made from 100% recycled nylon, carefully selected for its lightness and exceptional softness. The PFAS-free DWR coating and hydrophobic down keep the Boost warm and comfortable even in damp conditions.
